Teachers Resolutions

As teachers, we have a lot we want to resolve, but too much. It's overwhelming to have so many resolutions causing us to fail at many of them. Here are five New Year's resolutions for teachers that are easy to keep and have big benefits:

1. Let kids move more Find ways to include movement in the classroom during the day. Take a workshop if you need more ideas on how to incorporate more movement into lesson plans.

2. Give students more responsibility
Give kids jobs in the classroom like helping setting up and cleaning up

3. Eliminate waiting time Make transitions a learning opportunity!

4. Spice up the curriculum Change the regular routine with something new like puppets, music, dramatic play, or a new game.

5. Chat more with my students

What are resolutions you have?
